Intuition
They say when it hits you... it is like nothing words can describe.
A word that only when you have been in it can you relate to it fully. I am talking about the real power of the emotion of "love". The kind of love that makes you stop dead in your tracks, that makes you wonder about your very existence and everything you ever believed in.
I can say that I want to know what it really feels like, even though I thought I knew. Having never experienced this, I think it is the closest thing I can ever imagine next to the pure light and joy of meeting the divine or a greater force within our universe finally face to face. I believe that it will make me feel so alive; like finding the rest of who you are and who you are suppose to be with. It is like the best orgasm you ever experienced wrapped in a wild and warm blanket engulfing all of your insecurities, fears and joys into one safe place. And it just keeps coming....
I will be changed in an instant - released and renewed on all levels.
I will know the "secret".
The secret that everyone that is "in love" knows about and smirks at us onlookers who are "without it" in pity and nods approvingly to those of us who "have found it" welcoming us into the club.
Could this be a cruel joke from the universe telling me that "yes" you want to find the "one" after all of this time but we are going to take it away for awhile; maybe take you away? That patience is needed dear one.
What?!? After everything I have been through? I have played by the rules and now I have to accept this turn in the road? Are you kidding me? What about my trusted friend, Ms.Intuition?
Ms. intuition though usually a knock out "right on" life preserver for me was a total knock out "dead wrong" betrayer.
I never saw it coming. Never.
Betrayed by my trusted friend and now I am not sure if I can ever trust anyone ever again. Oh the turns in the journey of life.
