what took you so long?
As I walked up to WBC last night, it struck me that.... here before me stood.... an unbelievably beautiful man who is both stimulating brilliant and warm...inside and out. And in that exact moment, it felt as if time stood still. And in my mind's eye...and in slow motion....I made my way to him as he looked innocently at clothes never feeling my presence. And as I reached him.....I whispered softly in his ear from behind...you are the "one" I have been looking for my whole life WBC. I think I am falling for you....big time.
And in a second, reality jumped into play and the real magic began. The magic of KO and WBC and its intoxicating style.
After a wonderful dinner of laughter and conversation, I thought of what Kevin told me this summer after a heart to heart about men and women. He couldn't figure out why someone like me couldn't find that connection and gave me the following advice. "When you want something or someone, you have to just tell them, and not worry about what their reaction will be. You go for it with all of your heart." And it was the most important piece of advice I ever received when I think about it. Because the very next day, Kevin ended up in a terrible car accident that almost killed him. And though he just got out of the hospital after all these months his advice has stayed with me. It made me realize how fragile life is. What a fine line there is between life and death. That I face it every day and every night; wondering will I wake up, will I make it another day?And so I did. With every piece of courage I could muster up from within.... I said WBC....
I have been looking for you all of my life.and his response was simply....what took you so long?Thank you Kevin, thank you my friend.
